The sander can short circuit, posing a fire hazard.

Using this product could cause serious injury, illness or death — stop using it now.

Reports so far: Mirka Abrasives has received five reports of electrical shorting incidents which included the sanders sparking and smoking. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
