Consumers should immediately stop using goalie masks and replacement wires and contact Bauer Hockey for a free replacement wire cage and complimentary throat protector.

The metal wires on the cages can break, posing a facial impact or laceration hazard.

Using this product could cause serious injury, illness or death — stop using it now.

Reports so far: Bauer Hockey has received nine reports of wire breakage, one in the U.S. and eight in Canada. Lacerations were reported in three of the Canadian incidents and the one U.S. incident.
