Consumers should stop using the unit until repaired and contact the firm to receive a free repair kit and installation instructions.

Extended hours will be in effect until March 15, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Smoke can build up inside the firebox due to ash accumulation and the glass in the door can break, posing a laceration hazard.

Using this product could cause serious injury, illness or death — stop using it now.

Reports so far: The firm has received four reports of incidents, including one report of a minor injury.
